I’m arriving early, before the check-in time. Can I keep my bags somewhere?
Yes, you can use our luggage storage and all common facilities before check-in. Also, we can check you in earlier if we have a chance.
I’m arriving late, is it possible to check-in after midnight?
It’s not a problem, we’ve got no curfew and our reception is 24h so we can check you in anytime.
We’re leaving Moscow in the evening, can we stay in the hostel after check-out?
Yes, you can stay in the hostel and use all common facilities after check-out. You can keep your bags in the luggage storage.
I’ve booked a bed in your hostel and need to apply for a Russian visa. Do you provide visa support? How does it work?
We can provide our guests with visa supporting documents: a tourist voucher and an official booking confirmation (so-called ‘visa invitation’). It’s an additional service, it costs 30 EUR per person (pre-payment required). If you need visa support please send a request including the dates of your stay in Russia and a scan of your passport (page with the photo) to and we’ll provide you with payment details.
How long does it take to get visa invitation?
Normally it’s ready in 2-3 working days after the payment is made. In most cases these documents are sent online to the designated Russian consulate.
We’re planning not only to visit Moscow but some other parts of Russia as well. Is it possible to obtain a visa invitation for our whole stay in Russia from you?
Yes of course, just make sure that you specify the dates of your stay in Russia (not only in Moscow) in your request. Please note that the maximum duration of a tourist visa is 28 days.
What is registration and how does it work? Do you provide it?
So-called ‘registration’ is actually the notification of your current place of stay in Russia. It’s necessary for all foreign citizens staying in Russia (either with or without a visa) for more than 7 working days. It’s provided by the receiving party (e.g. a hotel/hostel) after you enter the country. We scan your documents at check-in, then fill-in the form and send it to the authorities ourselves, you don’t need to do anything. This is free of charge and you get a confirmation coupon on the next working day after your arrival.
I’m arriving in Russia on a weekend/holiday. How can I get registration?
Don’t worry, it’s absolutely legal to stay without registration for 7 working days since the date of your arrival. You’ll get your registration on the nearest working day.
Do I need another registration if I go to a different place in Russia after I visit Moscow?
Your registration is valid only for the period of your stay in our hostel. If you travel further in Russia you need to get a new registration at your next place of stay within 7 working days after your previous registration expires.
